Private Buyer Purchases Grocery-Anchored Retail in Huntington Beach

JLL Capital Markets recently closed the $29-million sale of Adams Marketplace, a 65,116-square-foot retail center located at 9062 Adams Ave. in Huntington Beach. Affiliates of Fortress Investment Group and DJM Capital sold the asset to a private Orange County buyer.

Built in 1974 and renovated in 2022, Adams Marketplace is 98% occupied with Smart & Final Extra anchoring the center alongside other tenants such as Petco, Starbucks, MemorialCare Medical Center , Wingstop , 76 Gas Station , Jiffy Lube and Carl’s Jr .

The JLL Capital Markets investment sales advisory team was led by managing directors Bryan Ley , Gleb Lvovich and Geoff Tranchina along with director Tim Kuruzar and senior director Daniel Tyner .
