Principle Construction Finishes Mixed-Use Development Project

Principle Construction Corp. recently attended a grand opening ceremony for their recently completed mixed-use commercial and residential property at 17 S. Old Rand Road in Lake Zurich, Illinois. John Cahill and David Plunkett served as the project manager and superintendent respectively for the construction, with Muran Architects designing the building.

The redevelopment was a consolidation of several vacant lots from previously demolished outdated retail buildings located in downtown Lake Zurich; it features 13,500 square feet of space including 6,750 square feet of first-floor commercial space with four luxury second-floor apartments – all already occupied by tenants. The lead tenant is Lake Zurich Florist who doubled their retail footprint due to this new development opportunity!

Building systems were carefully chosen considering potential impacts on second floor residential use that could result from various types of commercial operations such as retail stores, offices or even bars/restaurants occupying the premises below them – making sure to accommodate any future needs they may have while still providing an optimal living experience upstairs!

The completion of this mixed-use project marks another successful endeavor by Principle Construction Corp., bringing more life into downtown Lake Zurich’s bustling community!
