JLL successfully negotiated a lease extension for Blackrock at 1 University Square Dr. in Princeton, NJ. The property is owned by Argent Ventures and the lease covers a total of 176,000 square feet. Under the terms of the agreement, Blackrock will continue to occupy the third and fourth floors as well as part of the fifth floor and ground-floor space. In addition, Argent Ventures will regain control over half of the fifth floor.

Blackrock has been a tenant at this location since 2010 and their decision to extend their lease demonstrates their satisfaction with both JLL’s services and the quality of this property.

The leasing team from JLL responsible for securing this deal includes executive managing director Tim Greiner, managing director Tom Romano, senior vice president Vinny DiMeglio, vice president Mike Pietrowicz,and executive vice president Jonathan Ortiz.

On behalf of Blackrock,JLL chairmanand New York Region President Peter Riguardi;vice chairman Matt Astrachan;managing director Nicole Tiger;executive vice president George Gemelos;and associate VP Hannah Bernstein were involved in negotiations.

Greiner commented on how ideal this location is for employers looking to attract top talent due to its convenient amenities both indoors and outdoors that promote collaboration among employees while also providing access to outdoor recreational activities.

CHICAGO (CBS) — A Chicago man has been charged with murder for allegedly shooting another man during a fight over money last week in the West Side Austin neighborhood.

Willie Coker, 30, of the 100 block of North Lockwood Avenue was charged with one count each of first-degree murder and aggravated discharge of a firearm at an occupied vehicle or building. He is scheduled to appear for bond hearing Wednesday afternoon at Central Bond Court.

Coker is accused fatally shooting Dwayne Fountain Jr., also known as “Lil Wayne,” about noon Friday outside his home in the 300 block South Lotus Avenue. Police said Fountain had just returned home when he got into an argument with Coker over money owed him by someone else who lived there.

During that argument, police said Coker pulled out a gun and shot Fountain multiple times before fleeing southbound through gangways between houses.
