Primestor Signs South LA Café as Retail Tenant in MXU: A Boost for Local Community Development

Primestor Development has recently announced the signing of South LA Café, a community coffee house, as a long-term tenant at Evermont. This mixed-use development is located in South Los Angeles and will be situated at the northwest corner of Manchester and Vermont avenues. The café’s new location will span approximately 2,300 square feet and marks its fifth café opening.

Evermont is expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2024 and is being developed in partnership with BRIDGE Housing. It will offer affordable housing options for seniors, families, and youth with a total of 180 units. In addition to this residential component, there will also be over 64,000 square feet dedicated to commercial and retail space along with a SEED public charter school. A Metro Transit Plaza training facility will also be included.

According to Primestor President Leandro Tyberg,”We are committed to creating vibrant destinations that uplift our communities.” He further added that “South LA Café shares our vision for community engagement which makes them an ideal fit for this project.” The collaboration between Primestor Development and South LA Café aims to bring an exciting new space for residents in South Los Angeles.
