Sansone Group and Broadstone Net Lease have joined forces to create a cutting-edge, Class-A multi-temperature distribution center in Sarasota, FL for United Natural Foods, Inc. This new facility will replace an aging one and incorporate the most advanced automation and robotics to optimize selecting, packing, and loading processes. Sansone Group is managing the development with a projected completion date of September 2024 while BNL serves as the sole capital provider and owner.
The warehouse will span over one million square feet of capacity with state-of-the art technology including KNAPP re-pack automation which is expected to improve customer service levels while reducing order fulfillment costs. It also features air conditioning throughout along with natural daylighting concepts plus dimmable lighting as well as full building water filtration system for added convenience.
