UBS has pre-leased a 23,644-square-foot space at 17xM, an office building under development by Skanska at 1700 M St. NW in Washington DC. According to the Washington Business Journal’s report, UBS is expected to move from its current location at 1501 K St. NW upon completion of the 11-story mixed use building in 2024. The land for this project is being ground leased by JBG Smith Properties and will include law firm Gibson Dunn & Crutcher who signed a lease for more than half of the building earlier this year (2021).
CBRE brokered the lease on behalf of Skanska with a team led by Randy Harrell, Jill Goubeaux, Joe Coleman and Lara Nealon while Cushman & Wakefield represented UBS during negotiations.
