The hospitality industry is making a comeback after the Covid pandemic. In San Antonio, the shuttered Wyndham San Antonio Riverwalk received a $158 million investment to become an InterContinental Hotel and The Westin Riverwalk completed a $12 million renovation. This project included improvements to guest rooms and corridors, as well as public spaces such as the business center, fitness center, restaurant and bar. The new business center offers collaborative workspace with flexible seating options for individual or group needs while guests have access to a reimagined WestinWORKOUT Fitness Studio. Crescent Real Estate LLC owns this property while HEI Hotels & Resorts manages it; renovations took roughly eight months to complete.
