Portman Industrial has successfully secured $29 million in construction financing for the initial phase of a new industrial business park in Taunton, MA. The former site of the Silver City Galleria shopping mall will be transformed into a state-of-the-art 1.1 million-square-foot industrial complex. BMO Harris Bank has provided the necessary construction loan.
The first phase will encompass a 248,435-square-foot building featuring over 38 dock positions and two drive-in doors with clear heights reaching up to 32 feet. Additionally, there will be ample parking space for over 270 vehicles, as well as room for up to 29 trailers and an impressive power capacity of 3,000 AMPs along with ESFR fire suppression systems. Conveniently located at the intersection of Route24 and Route140,the industrial park is set to become a prime destination for businesses seeking strategic positioning.
