Portman Holdings has acquired Brookside Office Park in Alpharetta, Georgia, with plans for a major mixed-use redevelopment. The 20-acre property currently includes two Class-A office buildings totaling approximately 266,000 square feet. As part of its transformation strategy, Portman will retain one 130,000-square-foot building and demolish the other to make way for new development.
The proposed redevelopment plan features 335 multifamily residences, 70 townhomes, and 60,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space. Leading the leasing efforts for the project are Dotan Zuckerman, Head of Retail Development, and Anders Fry, Retail Leasing Manager at Portman.
Originally constructed in the early 1980s, Brookside Office Park has seen declining occupancy in recent years, creating an opportunity for a revitalization of the underutilized site.
“With Brookside, we’re taking an older office campus and giving it new life—keeping the best of what’s there while bringing in housing, retail, and spaces that make it a real part of the community,” said Mike Greene of Portman Holdings.
Construction is slated to begin in summer 2026, with completion targeted for 2029.
