This month, the premier waterfront arts and events venue “Field Arts & Events Hall” will officially open with three days of community celebrations. These festivities include live performances, an outdoor stage, and Grammy award-winning musicians. Located in downtown Port Angeles at 201 W Front Street, this two-story center spans 41,600 square feet and is dedicated to driving regional economic activity as a cultural hub with a 500-seat theatre, 300-seat conference events center and fine arts gallery.
Seattle based general contractor Mortenson was responsible for building the Field Arts & Events Hall while LMN Architects served as architect/designer of record. Swenson Say Faget handled engineering services along with Stantec while Walker Macy provided landscape architecture services for the project. The Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe partnered up alongside Marine Discovery Center to form part of the Port Angeles Waterfront Center campus which also includes two other buildings dedicated to art culture science respectively .
