Principle Construction recently finished constructing a new showroom and outdoor pool park for Doheny’s, a distributor of pools and spas. The project was located at 5307 Green Bay Road in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
The completed building spans 17,275 square feet, including a spacious 12,560-square-foot showroom as well as a warehouse measuring 3,370 square feet and an office space of 920 square feet. Principle’s team made significant updates to the mechanical systems and installed LED lighting both inside and outside the building to promote energy efficiency. They also modernized the overall look of the space with updated finishes throughout. On the exterior of the building, Principle reconstructed the parking lot and created an impressive pool park featuring six full-size pools on display.
According to Jim Brucato, President of Principle Construction: “Doheny’s acquired this retail property which was conveniently located just down from their previous location. This allowed them to retain their existing customers and employees while also providing them with more room for showcasing their products.”
Darren Dehmlow and John Cahill from Principle served as project managers for this undertaking while Scott Nagel acted as superintendent overseeing operations on-site. Partners in Design were responsible for architectural design services on this project.
