"Pokemon Seeks 300K SF Space in Downtown Bellevue Development"

The Pokemon Company International is planning to lease a significant amount of space in a 25-story office tower currently being built in downtown Bellevue, according to the Puget Sound Business Journal. The tower, known as Eight and developed by Skanska, is expected to be completed early next year at the intersection of 108th Avenue Northeast and Northeast Eighth Street. This will be the company’s second development in Bellevue and sixth overall in the Puget Sound region.

Although no lease has been finalized yet, sources familiar with the matter have revealed that Pokemon could occupy over 300,000 square feet – approximately 56% of total available space – within this 540,000-square-foot tower. Other companies have also taken advantage of opportunities in Bellevue; for example Bytedance (parent company of TikTok) recently acquired an additional 66,000 square feet at Key Center.
