"Plans for Large-Scale Pickleball Complex in Proximity to Scottsdale"

A new pickleball and padel facility is in the works near Scottsdale, boasting 48 indoor courts, two padel courts, 12 outdoor courts, and a championship court with seating for up to 5,000 spectators.

Located on an expansive 11.44-acre plot of land east of Loop 101 between Topgolf and OdySea Aquarium at the Riverwalk development by CaliberCos on Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community land. The project will be known as Pure Pickleball & Padel.

The main floor will feature a pro shop, full-service restaurant and bar, locker rooms, as well as exercise and recovery rooms. On the second floor there will be on-site childcare services available along with a special event court for tournaments or exhibitions. Box seats are also planned for VIP viewing experiences along with office space and a broadcast booth. Additionally,the venue will include a rooftop bar and lounge area.

Pure Pickleball & Padel is expected to operate primarily through membership subscriptions but some designated play time may also be open to non-members.

Construction is scheduled to begin next year with completion targeted for late-2026 by Phoenix-based companies Wespac Construction serving as general contractor while Davis Architects handles design duties.
