"Plans Announced for Two Mixed-Use Developments Spanning 300,000 Square Feet in Broomfield and Loveland"

Prism Places and McWhinney have joined forces to develop two separate mixed-use commercial districts spanning a total of 676,000 square feet across 213 acres in Broomfield and Loveland. According to Commercial Edge, both developments have secured leases with an organic grocer for stores measuring 37,000 square feet each.

The first project set to begin construction is Avenue South, designed by AO. This district will cover 364,000 square feet and serve as the business and commercial hub for Centerra – a master-planned community spanning over 3,000 acres in Loveland. Construction is scheduled to commence in November of 2025 with completion expected by March of 2028. Alongside the organic grocer store, Avenue South will also feature retail space totaling at128,000 square feet along with restaurant space measuring up at72 ,00squarefeet . Additionally,itwill include Class A office space covering127 ,00squarefeetandover1 ,750new residential units.

Meanwhile,Cent erStreetwillencompassapproximately312 ,00squarefeetasit serves asthebusinessdistrictforBaseline- amaster-plannedcommunityspreadacross1 ,100acresinBroomfield.PrismPlacesandMcWhinneyareplanningtobreakgroundonCenterStreetins eptemberof2026withacompletiondateofAugustof2028.Thecenterwillhouseofficespacealongwithretailandrestaurantfacilitiesaswellasanorganicgrocerystore.ThisexcitingdevelopmentwasrecentlyannouncedbyConnectCRE.
