Plano’s Collin Creek Mall, which opened in 1981 and closed in 2019, is set to undergo a $1 billion mixed-use redevelopment. Centurion American has already begun demolition on the property and construction on the new project will begin next month.
The development will span over 100 acres near US-75 and will feature a variety of amenities including 500 single-family homes, 2,300 apartments, a hotel, offices,and an underground garage with space for up to 2,000 vehicles at a cost of $67 million. Additionally,the project will include eight acres of parkland and over one mile of trails throughout.
This highly anticipated redevelopment is expected to revitalize the area and bring new life to Plano’s commercial landscape. With its prime location near major highways and ample green space for residents to enjoy,the Collin Creek Mixed-Use Project is sure to be a sought-after destination once completed.
