Plano Approves Silver Line Mixed-Use Project for Development

The Plano City Council has given the green light to a mixed-use project that will be located along the Silver Line rail project. The development, which is being proposed by Metropolitan Interests Corporation, includes plans for both residential and commercial spaces. Specifically, there will be 390 apartments built on the western portion of the property in five-story buildings. Additionally, there will be a restaurant called Railside Lofts and Courts situated on 13th Street between Municipal Avenue and N Avenue.

According to Community Impact reports, developers are also planning to bring an Austin-based restaurant concept called Bouldin Acres to this location. This establishment will feature an outdoor game area for visitors’ enjoyment.

However, construction on the apartments cannot begin until either a building permit is issued for the restaurant or January 1st of 2025 arrives. This timeline aligns with development regulations put in place last year by city officials.
