"Plano Approves Silver Line Mixed-Use Development"

Plano has given the green light to a mixed-use development on the Silver Line rail project proposed by developer Metropolitan Interests Corporation. The approved site plan includes a combination of residential and commercial spaces, with an apartment complex called Railside Lofts and Courts and a restaurant along 13th Street between Municipal Avenue and N Avenue.

The residential portion of the development will consist of five-story buildings on the western side, offering up to 390 apartments. According to Community Impact, there are also plans for an Austin-based restaurant concept from Bouldin Acres that will feature an outdoor game area.

Construction on the apartments is subject to certain regulations set in place last year. Specifically, it cannot begin until either a building permit is issued for the restaurant or January 1st, 2025. This ensures that both components of this exciting new project can be completed simultaneously without any delays or conflicts.
