Jackson-Shaw and Holualoa Cos. have announced a joint venture to develop a dual-branded hotel in the Norterra master-planned community located in north Phoenix. The project, which will span approximately 160,000 square feet, will feature an AC by Marriott with 179 keys and an Element by Westin with 95 keys.
According to reports from the Phoenix Business Journal, the site is situated next to the Shops at Norterra and is less than a 15-minute drive from Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co.’s $40 billion plant currently under construction. This development has attracted numerous suppliers to the area as well as spurred new residential and commercial projects.
