The Los Angeles City Planning Commission has approved plans for a new nine-story office building in Hollywood, designed to cater to the entertainment and creative industries. The 0.78-acre site at 1000 Seward St., proposed by property owner Matt Cooper of Immersive Fuel and his development partner MGMT Partners, will be transformed into an approximately 150,000-square foot office building with ground floor retail space and a rooftop restaurant/entertainment/hospitality use.
Cooper – who has extensive experience as a Hollywood stakeholder and entertainment industry veteran – expressed confidence that there is still demand for Class A office space in the greater Hollywood area: “Well-designed spaces offering thoughtful tenant amenities can only enhance Hollywood’s reputation as the world’s premier destination for creativity.”
