Pinellas Co. School Employees to Receive Workforce Housing Development

Pinellas County Schools has chosen Tomlinson Community Partners (TCP) to renovate the 99-year-old Tomlinson Building in St. Petersburg’s Mirror Lake neighborhood for workforce housing. TCP is a partnership between Alexander Goshen, Cornerstone Strategic Partners, and Dantes Partners.

Kevin Hendrick, Pinellas County Schools superintendent commented that “we must provide accessible and desirable housing options to attract and retain the best teachers and district employees” as it aligns with their goal of supporting educators’ and employees’ housing needs.

The project includes 225 residential units; 113 designated as workforce housing catering to those making 90-120% of area median income with estimated rent ranging from $1,263 – $1,609 including studio-, one-, or two-bedroom floor plans available while 112 units will be leased at market value rate.

Workforce Housing Developed for Pinellas Co School Employees

Pinellas County Schools has selected Tomlinson Community Partners (TCP) to renovate the 99 year old building in St Petersburg’s Mirror Lake neighborhood into workforce housing accommodations. The partnership consists of Alexander Goshen , Cornerstone Strategic partners ,and Dantes partners . Superintendent Kevin Hendrick expressed his support stating that providing accessible & desirable living options is essential in order attract & retain top tier teachers & district personnel . This aligns with their goal of supporting educators ‘& employee’s accommodation needs .

The project encompasses 225 residential units ;113 are designated as workforce dwellings targeting individuals earning 90%-120% area median income which equates an estimated rent range from $1263-$1609 offering various floor plans such as studios , 1 bedroom or 2 bedrooms while remaining 112 are offered at market rate values .
