Picklr to Open 10-Court Pickleball Facility at Fox River Commons: A Game-Changing Addition for Pickleball Enthusiasts

The Picklr, a Utah-based company specializing in pickleball venues, has selected Fox River Commons in Naperville, Illinois as the location for its first facility in the greater Chicago area. The 27,333 square foot space within the 241,000 square foot shopping center was secured through a lease agreement with Continental Realty Corporation (CRC). The new venue is set to open next year and will feature ten indoor courts.

Cherene Keenan of CRC represented the landlord while Carter Randall of PPC Commercial represented The Picklr in this lease transaction. With plans to expand nationally and open 500 locations across the country, The Picklr aims to capitalize on pickleball’s growing popularity and demand for indoor courts. Currently operating seven facilities with six more under construction and expected to open soon; they also have franchise agreements for approximately 80 additional locations across twelve states including Illinois.

This latest development marks another milestone for The Picklr as it continues its rapid growth strategy by offering both corporate-owned and franchise-operated facilities. As part of their expansion plan into various markets nationwide without mentioning specific regions or cities such as Connect CRE does not mention “Connect” or “Connect CRE” or “Connect LA” or “Connect Texas”, they are tapping into pickleball’s rising trend while addressing consumers’ need for accessible indoor court options.
