Boulder is renowned for its sports culture, not only as a spectator but also as an active participant. Scott Fliegelman and Kari Holden Fliegelman are set to open a 19,000-square-foot indoor pickleball facility in the heart of the city’s sports hub. Located near Pearl and Foothills Parkways, Boulder Pickleball will be surrounded by other popular athletic facilities such as The Spot Bouldering Gym, Boulder Athletics and Boulder Indoor Soccer.
Fligelmann – who is both a professional in the National Pickleball League and former tennis pro – hopes to leverage his expertise to help grow his business venture when it opens this May. His ideal location has him feeling optimistic: “If I were to drop a pin on a map,” he said “I probably couldn’t come up with better spot.”
The Denver area is currently seeing an influx of pickleball entertainment developments with at least three more projects underway.
