Pickleball and Social Club Selects El Segundo as First Location

JLL facilitated a lease for California SMASH – Pickleball and Social Club, securing a 25,300-square-foot building at 815 N. Nash in El Segundo. The converted industrial space is set to open in the fourth quarter of 2024.

Featuring ten indoor courts with padded flooring, the club will offer more than just pickleball – there will also be live music from a dedicated DJ, ample room for dancing and a full-service bar and restaurant.

Founder Brett Drogmund explains that “with the increasing popularity of pickleball and people’s desire for social interaction and entertainment,” they wanted to create an inclusive destination where conversation, competition, and camaraderie can thrive. He adds that they anticipate visitors ranging from competitive players to those simply looking to unwind.
