Selig Development is preparing for the second phase of The Works on Atlanta’s Westside. This 80-acre mixed-use development is the largest redevelopment project in the city and Selig has invested $400 million into it, having owned this land for 75 years. They are restoring and repurposing several industrial buildings to create more than 2 million square feet of commercial space.
Phase one of The Works is almost 90% leased with restaurants, retailers, offices and a food hall occupying 27 acres along with 120,000 square feet of office space as well as green spaces and 306 units at Westbound apartment building – leasing begins next month.
The 53 acre site currently occupied by warehouses from Chattahoochee Avenue to Collier Road will be Phase two’s location. This adaptive reuse project has transformed Atlanta’s Westside into a bustling office, residential and retail district alongside other similar projects in the area..
