Breakthrough Properties, a joint venture between Tishman Speyer and Bellco Capital, has secured Pfizer Oncology as a tenant for its life science campus in San Diego. The 230,000-square-foot lease covers two research and development buildings for a term of 15 years.
With this latest commitment from Pfizer, Breakthrough Properties has fully preleased its Torrey View campus ahead of schedule. In addition to Pfizer Oncology, the campus will also be home to BD Biosciences Division – one of the world’s leading medical technology companies – which is set to begin moving into their space in late 2023.
Currently at an impressive occupancy rate of 89%, Torrey View boasts long-term investment grade credit tenants with the remaining space leased by innovative biotechnology firms experiencing rapid growth.
