Colliers recently oversaw the sale of a large manufacturing and warehousing campus in Person County, North Carolina for $61.8 million. The sellers, Weston and Blue Vista Capital Management, were represented by Colliers’s Jimmy Ullrich, Ryan Vaught, Michael Macchia and Riley Vaught. The buyers were Carolina Logistics Center and Tratt Properties.
The facility will continue to serve as both a manufacturing plant and distribution center for POLYWOOD outdoor furniture company. This allows the company to efficiently ship their products along the East Coast.
Situated at 3300 Jim Thorpe Hwy., the property consists of two buildings – one being an original 430K-square-foot building used for extrusion, production packaging,and distribution of POLYWOOD products; while another is a newly constructed build-to-suit facility spanning over 500K square feet that serves as POLYWOOD’s final assembly area with features such as a recycling section measuring at approximately 100K square feet; an extrusion area covering about200k square feet;and finished goods space totaling around200k sq ft.
