Peak Construction Corporation and NorthPoint Development recently welcomed Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro to their Hazleton Logistics Building 1 for a press conference. The purpose of the event was to sign an executive order that establishes the PA Permit Fast Track Program.
During his speech, Governor Shapiro discussed how this new program will cut through bureaucratic obstacles, expedite permits, and streamline construction projects in Pennsylvania. He then proceeded to sign Executive Order 2024-04, which officially creates the PA Permit Fast Track Program. This initiative aims to simplify the permitting process for important economic development and infrastructure projects while also increasing transparency and speeding up timelines. Ultimately, it is designed to help project sponsors better understand permit requirements and reduce costly delays.
CBRE has been selected as the leasing broker for Northpoint/Peak Hazleton Logistics Building 1 – a massive project spanning over 1 million square feet of space. This building is part of Hazleton Logistics Park 141 – a master-planned industrial park that will eventually encompass more than 5 million square feet of Class-A industrial space upon completion.
