London-based online pension provider, PensionBee, is making its mark in the U.S. market with the establishment of its first office in Lower Manhattan. The company has secured space on the 17th floor of 85 Broad St., formerly known as Goldman Sachs headquarters and owned by Ivanhoe Cambridge. By July 15, 2024, PensionBee will begin operations with a team of ten employees.
As part of their expansion plans into the U.S., PensionBee aims to grow their presence within this Financial District building over time. This move was made possible through support from New York City Economic Development Corp., which facilitated local connections and integration efforts.
Currently occupied by WeWork and other tenants, there are potential plans for residential conversion by Fortress Investment Group and Metro Loft Management for this tower. In order to secure their desired location, PensionBee opted for direct negotiations rather than going through a third party.
This exciting development marks an important milestone for PensionBee’s growth strategy in the U.S market.
