**Pennrose Celebrates Grand Opening of Swifts Landing in Wareham, MA**
Pennrose, in collaboration with the Wareham Redevelopment Authority (WRA) and project partners, has officially opened Swifts Landing, a new affordable and workforce housing community at 23 Littleton Circle in Wareham, Massachusetts. The project transforms a previously vacant 16-acre site into a vibrant, 93-unit mixed-income housing community.
“By transforming a once-vacant parcel into a vibrant, welcoming community for families and seniors, Swifts Landing represents the power of partnership and what can be achieved with a thoughtful shared vision,” said Karmen Cheung, Regional Vice President at Pennrose. “We are proud to work alongside the local stakeholders and the Wareham Redevelopment Authority to deliver a community asset that will benefit residents, the workforce, and the broader neighborhood.”
The project was made possible through a collaborative financing effort that included support from MassHousing, Eastern Bank, Hudson Housing Capital, the Massachusetts Housing Investment Corporation, the Massachusetts Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities, the Community Economic Development Assistance Corporation, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Boston, and the Town of Wareham Community Preservation Committee.
Swifts Landing is positioned as a key development in addressing the region’s need for high-quality, affordable housing while invigorating the local area with new opportunities for residents and businesses alike.
