Life Time, a healthy lifestyle brand, has announced a lease agreement with Vornado Realty Trust to occupy over 53,000 square feet in PENN 1. Located next to Madison Square Garden, the facility will feature an indoor pickleball club with seven new courts and lounge seating complete with bar.
The opening of Life Time at PENN 1 is planned for two phases beginning in summer 2023 and early 2024 respectively. The first phase will offer state-of-the-art athletic club followed by the addition of pickleball courts during the second phase. In 2016 Life Time debuted its first New York destination – Sky at 605 W 42nd Street – and plans to expand further into three more locations: The Brooklyn Tower; Brooklyn Crossing; Park Avenue South all set for 2024 openings as well .
