**Oxbow Development Group Moves Forward with New Hotel in San Antonio’s Pearl District**

Oxbow Development Group is advancing its plans to construct a new hotel in the Pearl neighborhood of San Antonio. The company has secured a construction loan from Frost Bank and announced that the hotel will be named Perlen House.

The nine-story hotel will feature 166 rooms and be located across the river from the well-known Hotel Emma. Unlike its upscale neighbor, Perlen House is expected to operate as a select-service hotel, offering accommodations at a more accessible price point.

The project comes as Oxbow nears completion of its Coopers Row apartment community in the same area. In addition, the company is actively developing two other multifamily projects: Mira and Lewellen.

Oxbow’s efforts are part of a broader development strategy by its parent company, Silver Ventures. In late 2002, Silver Ventures acquired the 23-acre former brewery site known as Pearl. Since then, the company has been working to redevelop the area into a vibrant hub for residents, businesses, and River Walk tourists.
