The Building Trades Employers Association (BTEA) has appointed Patrick A. Wehle as executive vice president, aiming to strengthen industry partnerships, enhance safety measures and promote the value of building with union labor. Pat Di Filippo, executive vice president of Turner Construction Company and co-chair of the BTEA stated: “We will be well served by Patrick’s leadership; he has a proven ability to plan strategically, cultivate relationships and drive change for New Yorkers”.
With over 20 years experience in formulating policies for growth in NYC, Wehle currently serves as assistant commissioner for Strategic Policy & Industry Relations at the New York City Department of Buildings (NYC DOB). His efforts have been instrumental in ensuring safe construction practices across the city.
