Multiple partners are joining forces to develop a mixed-use center in East Mesa, Arizona. Located at the corner of Signal Butte Road and Southern Avenue, the proposed Medina Station will feature 851 residential units and 250,000 square feet of commercial space across four parcels. Initially slated for a Super Target store, this 60-acre site has been vacant for years.
Greystar Worldwide is set to build out one parcel with 165 “active adult” apartments called Album Mountain Vista designed specifically for those aged 55+ who want an active lifestyle. Hawkins Cos., Vivo Partners and Bela Flor Communities are also involved in developing the project which includes shops, in-line retail outlets as well as full and limited service restaurants on eight pad sites.
This ambitious development aims to provide an attractive destination that caters both housing needs along with shopping options within one convenient location – all while breathing new life into what was once just an empty lot!
