Partner Joins West Baltimore Homeownership Development to Support Growth

Enterprise Community Development has announced Harrison Development as the second partner for its Let’s Build Accelerator (LBA) program. The collaboration is to develop a multi-phased, mixed-income homeownership development, Upton Gateway in Baltimore’s Upton neighborhood. This project will feature 38 units and aims to address challenges faced by non-institutionally resourced real estate developers such as access to capital and development capacity.

The LBA program provides partners from BIPOC and community/faith based groups with necessary resources including capital and development capacity so they can grow their communities without being marginalized. Additionally, the Upton Gateway project leverages critical resources from the City of Baltimore which includes subsidies for future homebuyers plus financing for renovation of long vacant row homes.
