Rocky Vista University (RVU), a for-profit university designed for students going into the medical field, recently sold its Parker campus to W. P. Carey & Co., a New York-based real estate investment trust, for $48.35 million while maintaining their presence on site through an executed lease agreement. The 145,000 square foot building houses multiple labs and a primary care facility according to RVU’s website and is one of three campuses owned by the school; with two others located in Ivins Utah outside of St George as well as Billings Montana where they just completed construction on a new 138,000-square-foot campus situated on 12.8 acres .
In other parts of Parker Colorado ,a new $275 million development project is underway that will bring retail , office and residential uses to downtown .
