**Parallel Breaks Ground on Third Student Housing Project Near Texas A&M**
Parallel, in collaboration with Kayne Anderson Real Estate, has officially begun construction on a new student housing development located at 250 Church Avenue in College Station’s vibrant Northgate district. The project is being financed by BMO Bank, which has provided the construction loan.
This marks Parallel’s third student living community dedicated to serving the Texas A&M University population.
The 23-story development will feature 148 residential units configured across multiple floor plans, including studios and 1- to 5-bedroom layouts. Some units will offer townhome-style accommodations, collectively offering a total of 500 beds. Construction has already commenced, with the project scheduled for completion in summer 2027.
The development team includes renowned firms such as Rhode Partners, A Royal Interiors, Mitchell & Morgan, RLG Consulting Engineers, and Rogers-O’Brien, which is serving as the general contractor. Design-build partners include Power Design Inc. and Kilgore Mechanical.
