Pappas Properties Receives Green Light for Charlotte Venture

Pappas Properties has received approval from the Charlotte City Council to move forward with Phase III of its mixed-use project on Pearl Park Way. According to the Charlotte Business Journal, this decision will allow for a multifamily tower with 425 units and a maximum height of 275 feet. Of these units, ten will be rent-restricted. The final phase also includes plans for a 150-room hotel, up to 100,000 square feet of office space and up to 35,000 square feet of retail.

The most recent phase of the project was Solis Midtown which was completed last summer at its location on Harding Place (1133 Harding Place). Developed by Terwilliger Pappas, this property boasts 329 units.

Phase one included Canopy Realtor Association’s $28 million headquarters building which opened in September of last year. This impressive building spans over60 ,000 square-feet.

Atrium Health’s Kenilworth Medical Plaza I and II make up Phase two which opened in April earlier this year at Kenilworth Avenue and Harding Place. With an investment totaling $2281 .1 million dollars , these medical plazas offer more than250 exam rooms .

This latest development by Pappas Properties has been given the green light in Charlotte as they continue their successful ventures within North Carolina’s largest city.
