Panattoni Development Co., based in Irvine, has submitted plans for a 143,437-square-foot industrial facility in Tustin. This project will be located next to one of their latest local development projects that is currently occupied by electric vehicle manufacturer Rivian Automotive Inc. The two sites on Myford Road were acquired separately last year for nearly $41 million and include a 57,330-square-foot building and an 82,000 square foot building which will both be demolished to make way for the new project. The proposal includes a warehouse with 5,000 square feet of mezzanine office area as well as 19 truck docks and 103 parking stalls. Both buildings date from the 1970s when Panattoni paid $40.6 million total for them; 14351 Myford was purchased in March 2022 while 14321 Myford was acquired the following August.
