Panattoni Development Company has appointed industry veteran Drew Zaborowski as senior development manager for its Northwest region, adding experienced leadership to its industrial platform in the Pacific Northwest. In this newly announced role, Zaborowski is tasked with helping the firm identify and carry out new industrial development opportunities while supporting Panattoni’s broader growth strategy across the region.
According to the company, Zaborowski will focus on advancing ground-up industrial projects and related initiatives that align with Panattoni’s expansion plans in the Pacific Northwest. His remit includes working within the firm’s regional framework to evaluate prospective development sites, navigate pre-construction processes, and support projects from early planning through execution.
Zaborowski brings more than a decade of experience in industrial real estate development, with a background that spans the full life cycle of industrial projects. His expertise includes site acquisition, where he has evaluated and secured properties for development; due diligence, including technical and financial reviews; and entitlements, managing the regulatory steps needed to move projects forward.
In addition to entitlement work, Zaborowski has experience in capital structuring, supporting how projects are financed and organized, and in construction management, where he has been involved in overseeing the build-out of industrial facilities. His background also extends to engineering-related coordination and to asset dispositions, giving him direct familiarity with both the development and exit phases of industrial investments.
Travis Hale, a partner at Panattoni Development Company, emphasized the strategic fit of the hire, noting that the company is pleased to add Zaborowski to its Northwest team. Hale highlighted Zaborowski’s depth of experience, his strategic mindset, and his strong understanding of the Northwest market as qualities that position him to contribute meaningfully as Panattoni continues to expand its industrial footprint across the region.
Over the past 15 years, Zaborowski has held leadership roles overseeing industrial development projects throughout the Pacific Northwest, giving him a long-running perspective on the region’s logistics and industrial landscape. His experience managing projects over this period has exposed him to multiple market cycles and a range of development conditions.
Most recently, Zaborowski served as a market leader for a logistics property company, where he was responsible for industrial initiatives in that platform. He later co-founded Bear Creek Real Estate, further broadening his exposure to development and investment activities in the industrial sector. These roles add entrepreneurial and leadership dimensions to his development background as he steps into his new position with Panattoni.
With this appointment, Panattoni is reinforcing its development bench in the Northwest at a time when the Pacific Northwest industrial market continues to be an area of focus for logistics and distribution users. Zaborowski’s combination of technical development skills and regional experience is expected to support the company’s ability to pursue new industrial projects and maintain its presence across key Pacific Northwest industrial corridors.
