Urban Land Development, a San Francisco-based company, announced on Monday that Palmetto Superfoods has signed a lease at 531 Bryant St. in the city’s South Park SoMa neighborhood. The fast-healthy concept combines Brazilian açaí with California vegan-focused superfoods and is set to open in the second quarter.
According to Charles Lee, founder and CEO of Palmetto Superfoods, they chose to partner with ULD for the 531 Bryant retail space because it will give them visibility in South Park SoMa and its proximity to Oracle Park. This will also benefit their catering division for MELA events as well as support major upcoming events such as NBA All-Stars, Super Bowl, and World Cup being hosted by San Francisco over the next three years.
JLL’s Chris Roeder, John Norton, and Carlye Parker are leading leasing efforts at 531 Bryant. This location will be Palmetto’s seventh store in the Bay Area alongside other locations including 3rd & Clement Street Union Street,Dolores Park,Santana Row,Town & Country Village, and Primrose Road. With eight more stores planned, the brand continues its expansion across Northern California.
