Palladium USA has announced the start of construction on Palladium San Antonio, a new multi-family community in the city with an estimated cost of $75 million. This marks Palladium’s second multi-family development in San Antonio. The four-story building will feature 288 units, including one-, two-, and three-bedroom floor plans with balconies or patios. Residents can look forward to luxurious amenities such as a resort-style swimming pool, fitness center, conference center, and business center.
The first units are expected to be completed by November 2025 at this new 18-acre community located on Military Drive just south of Hwy 90.
This project is a result of a partnership between Palladium USA and the San Antonio Housing Trust Public Facility Corporation (SAHTPFC), with design work by Cross Architects. Brownstone Group will serve as general contractor alongside SAHTPFC for construction.
To fund this development, SAHTPFC issued $35 million in tax-exempt bonds while PNC Bank provided $33 million in equity and over $30 million in long-term debt financing. Additionally,Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) contributed over $36 million through their placement program for affordable housing projects using 4% Housing Tax Credits.
