PACT Partner Team to Complete $246M Capital Repairs for 1,500 Bronx Residents

The New York City Housing Authority is set to undertake $246 million in capital repairs for nearly 1,500 residents at Moore Houses and East 152nd Street-Courtlandt Avenue through the Permanent Affordability Commitment Together (PACT) program. Mega Group Development and Brisa Builders, co-developers selected after review and engagement with residents, will conduct the comprehensive repairs which cover 684 apartments across four buildings at the Bronx developments.

Construction is scheduled to begin in 2024 with apartment and building assessments, rehabilitation, property management plans as well as social service plans included in this project. Deputy Mayor for Housing Maria Torres-Springer stated that “NYCHA tenants deserve quality homes” while expressing her enthusiasm about these critical improvements being made to Moore Houses and East 152nd Street-Courtlandt Avenue.
