Oxford Properties Group has commenced construction on a 165,000-square-foot expansion of Ionis Pharmaceuticals’ main life sciences campus in Carlsbad. The existing campus, located in the thriving life sciences submarket, currently boasts approximately 250,000 square feet of lab and office space.
Situated at 2830 Whiptail Loop and expected to be completed by the end of 2025, Ionis’ expanded campus will offer purpose-built lab facilities along with complementary office space. This development is a testament to Oxford’s strong partnership with Ionis; last year they acquired the existing campus through a purchase and long-term leaseback agreement.
