"Owner-Occupier Trend Evident in Mid-Counties Industrial Sale"

Colliers recently facilitated the sale of a 124,480-square-foot industrial property in La Mirada’s Mid-Counties submarket. The property, located at 16930 Valley View Ave., was sold to LD Valley View Holdings, LLC for $32,425,000 by an undisclosed seller.

The transaction was handled by Colliers’ team of professionals including vice chair Tony Phu representing the buyer and vice chair Michael Kendall leading a team that represented the seller. Other members of the team included SVP Gian Bruno, VP Kenny Patricia and associate Kylie Jones.

According to Phu: “This sale is evidence of a growing trend towards owner-occupiers seeking high-quality assets for long-term tenancy. We are now exploring opportunities for our client to invest on the East Coast as well.” He also noted that with their buyer’s cooperation and diligence during contract negotiations they were able to close within five days from opening escrow.

This recent industrial sale in La Mirada highlights an increasing demand among occupiers looking to acquire quality properties for long-term use. Colliers continues to provide local market advisory services through its experienced professionals such as vice chair Chris Sheehan , EVP Mike Foley , senior EVP Jeff Smart , associate Liz Capati , and VP Senna De La Cruz .
