Courtside Apartments II, a new affordable apartment community in Miami’s historic Overtown neighborhood, is now under construction thanks to the joint efforts of Housing Trust Group (HTG) and AM Affordable Housing. The $58 million project will consist of 120 units and was made possible through various sources of funding.
Phase I of Courtside Apartments II was completed in 2016, with Phase II expected to be finished by Q1 2026. These apartments are specifically designed for residents who earn at or below 50%, 60%, and 70% of the area median income (AMI). Monthly rents will range from $985 to $3,092.
Located at two addresses -1698 NW Ave. and1501 NW Ave.- Courtside Apartments II offers its future tenants amenities such as a clubhouse with a media center, fitness center,dog park,and bike storage.
The project’s funding comes from multiple sources including JPMorganChase for the construction loan,a syndicated Low-Income Housing Tax Credit equity through Truist Bank,a permanent loan provided by Grandbridge Real Estate Capital,and four loans from different government agencies.In fall2025,the leasing process is expected to begin.The completion date for this development has been set for Q1of2026.This announcement first appeared on Connect CRE .
