"Overcoming Self-Imposed Limitations: Insights from Walker Webcast's 29029 Co-Founders"

In a recent episode of the Walker Webcast, 29029 co-founders Marc Hodulich and Jesse Itzler discussed their unique endurance event and how it challenges participants to push themselves beyond their limits. As entrepreneurs, they understand the importance of determination and passion in achieving success.

The event involves climbing a private mountain multiple times over 36 hours, totaling 29,029 feet – equivalent to summiting Mt. Everest without guides or extreme weather conditions. Hodulich describes it as a safe space for individuals to challenge themselves in an unfamiliar environment – much like entrepreneurship itself.

Itzler shares that this mindset is also crucial in endurance sports: “Of the 500 people on this call, everyone could probably beat me in a short race or lift more weight than me. But I’m really good at running for long periods without stopping.” This determination is what sets successful entrepreneurs apart from those who simply have potential but lack willpower.

Their goal with founding 29029 was to make endurance sports accessible to anyone willing to take on such an incredible feat – regardless of prior experience or athletic abilities. They believe that by completing this challenge together as a community, individuals can break through self-imposed limitations and realize their true potential.

Hodulich emphasizes that there are no shortcuts when it comes to conquering such an immense physical task: “There’s no easy way out here…it’s tough.” However difficult it may be though, he takes pride in seeing participants come together as one strong community throughout the journey towards reaching new heights both physically and mentally.

Aside from their success with creating innovative events like these ones (which were later sold off), Hodulich & Itzler have also found great triumphs with other ventures including Marquis Jets & Zico coconut water; all thanks largely due not only because they’re enthusiastic about what they do but because they never underestimate just how far enthusiasm alone can get them.
