**Outrigger Industrial and MetLife Investment Management to Redevelop Oakland Industrial Property**

Outrigger Industrial, in partnership with MetLife Investment Management, is set to redevelop a key industrial site located at 727 Kennedy Street in Oakland. The project will transform the currently vacant structure into a modernized facility known as Kennedy Logistics Center, aligning with current market demands and improved functionality. Construction is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2025, with completion targeted for the second quarter of 2026.

“Outrigger Industrial is committed to investing in Northern California’s East Bay area, especially in projects like this where repositioning an asset has both a financial upside as well as broader community benefits,” said William Lu, Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Outrigger Industrial.

The redevelopment’s initial phase will include a reduction of the existing building footprint by 57,000 square feet to facilitate a reconfiguration of the loading docks. Once complete, the upgraded facility will span approximately 177,000 square feet and feature substantial structural reinforcements along with visual improvements.

This project reflects a continued focus on revitalizing underutilized industrial assets in key urban markets while creating long-term value and utility for the surrounding community.
