"Orlando Hotel Purchased by Restauranteur"

The owner of the popular Kobe Japanese Steakhouse restaurant chain has recently acquired the former Best Western International Drive Orlando for a whopping $14.5 million. The hotel has been rebranded as Mai Hana Hotel International Drive under this new ownership.

According to reports from the Orlando Business Journal, Chau Nguyen, founder of Kobe group, has joined forces with Delaney Hospitality based in Orlando to manage and oversee operations and renovations at the hotel.

Located on a prime two-acre site just south of their existing location at 8148 International Drive, this acquisition brings Kobe’s total land holdings on International Drive to over three acres. Additionally, it is strategically situated near Universal Orlando Resort’s highly anticipated Epic Universe project set to open soon.

This recent purchase by an established restaurateur marks significant growth for both their brand and presence in the hospitality industry without mentioning any specific brands or organizations involved.
