According to public filings, AIC Hotel Group, based in Miami, has announced plans for a 50-acre plot of land near Walt Disney World. The proposed development is a mixed-use complex that will consist of five 25-story towers and encompass a total of 2.3 million square feet.
The project will be completed in three phases and include the following features:
– Four hotels with a combined total of 1,934 rooms
– Fifty residential units
– Two hundred seventy club member units
– Sixteen restaurants spanning over 102,094 square feet
– Thirty thousand eight hundred square feet dedicated to retail space
– Thirty-five thousand eight hundred sixty square feet allocated for spa facilities
– Seventy thousand seven hundred thirty square feet designated as meeting and entertainment space
Additionally, the complex will feature lazy rivers and pools for guests’ enjoyment.
In order to acquire the land in question back in 2018 , AIC spent $32 million. This company already owns several Hard Rock Hotels across various locations such as Cancun , Punta Cana ,and Vallarta . With this new development plan underway,AIC is set on expanding its presence even further within Orlando’s bustling market.
