Colorado-based real estate investment firm, Spartan Investment Group, has recently completed the purchase of two existing self-storage facilities in Salem, Oregon. The properties span a total of 164,752 square feet and contain 1,150 units. This acquisition marks the eighth and ninth additions to Spartan’s growing portfolio in the Pacific Northwest region.
The two facilities are located within Salem and consist of Glen Creek with 633 units spanning over 93,252 square feet and Blossom Drive with 615 units covering an area of approximately71,500 square feet. Both properties were built in different years – Glen Creek was constructed in1992 while Blossom Drive was built more recently in2006. As part of their investment strategy for these properties,Spartan plans to make upgrades and add new amenities to enhance their value.
